Grace E. Doherty
About Me

With over 15 years of dedicated legal experience in civil litigation, Grace is a seasoned attorney concentrating on professional liability, health care law and municipal law. She is a trusted advocate for physicians, nurses, long-term care facilities, physician groups and individual providers facing a myriad of legal challenges. Her practice focuses on representing clients in professional liability lawsuits, regulatory investigations, and licensing actions. A strategic and diligent approach is utilized to comprehensively represent clients in Pennsylvania state and federal courts.
Grace maintains a particular focus in municipal law, advising local government entities, townships, and boroughs across the Commonwealth on a broad range of legal issues. Her municipal practice includes guidance on governance, land use and zoning, public meetings, as well as defense of municipalities in litigation and administrative
proceedings.
She is a cum laude graduate of The College of the Holy Cross, Worcester, MA, where she participated as a Division I athlete in Cross Country and Track & Field. Grace obtained a Juris Doctor from Fordham University School of Law, New York, NY, during which time she worked with the Manhattan Public Defender, Kings County District Attorney, U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, and the Pennsylvania Supreme Court.
Grace currently serves as a Hearing Committee Member for the Disciplinary Board of the Pennsylvania Supreme Court and a member of the Women in the Profession Legislative committee for the Pennsylvania Bar Association.
In addition to her legal work, Grace is deeply committed and engaged with her local community. She serves as a School Board Director and assists as a volunteer through multiple youth organizations. As a proud mother of four, she brings to bear perspective and empathy when advocating for all her clients.
