James A. Doherty, III

About Me

James A. Doherty, III, was born and raised in Scranton, Pennsylvania.  He has been recognized as a Rising Star of Young Attorneys for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania by Philadelphia magazine. With an emphasis in personal and professional liability cases, specifically medical malpractice, general liability, products liability and civil rights. Jim also acts as special counsel to a number of public entities including in representing prisons regarding the required standard of care in county prison settings. He maintains an active appellate practice having successfully argued cases before the Superior Court, Commonwealth  Court and Supreme Court of Pennsylvania.
